A digger wasp! Her tunnel goes down about a foot so the temp doesn’t vary too much, and she has her eggs at the bottom. She’s stockpiling food for them and once she has enough she’ll seal up the top and forget about them. They’re way more passive than social wasps and aren’t bothered stinging you unless you really piss them off.
